CHINESE CHEWS COOKIES 
3/4 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking powder
1 c. sugar
1 c. chopped dates
1 c. chopped walnuts
3 well-beaten eggs

Sift dry ingredients. Stir in remaining ingredients. Pour into greased 10 x 14-inch pan. Bake in slow oven 300 degrees for 30 minutes.
