SPOON ROLLS 
1 pkg. dry yeast
2 c. lukewarm water
1 beaten egg
3/4 c. melted shortening
1/4 c. sugar
4 1/2 c. self-rising flour

In a large bowl, that can be covered. Mix water and yeast until dissolved. Add beaten egg and shortening. Stir well. Add sugar and flour; mix well. Store in refrigerator covered. Spoon into greased muffin pan. Bake at 425 degrees for 10-15 minutes. (Does not have to rise before baking.)
