MASHED POTATOES SUPREME 
8 to 10 medium potatoes (your choice)
butter
Salt
Pepper
Onion salt
8 ounce cream cheese, cut into cubes, softened
8 ounce sour cream

Peel and cut potatoes into small pieces. Cook until tender. Drain. Mash with butter, salt, pepper, and onion salt to taste. Cream cheese can be softened by leaving out for 1 hour, so it reaches room temperature, or in the microwave on defrost. Be very careful not to get it hot! Add cream cheese and sour cream to mashed potato mixture. Stir thoroughly. Preheat oven to 350°F. Place in large casserole dish, cover. Place in oven for one half hour or until hot. (May also heat in microwave on half power until hot.) Stir. Top with pat of butter. Sprinkle with pepper and paprika. Serve.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
