BRAISED VEAL CHOPS 
6 veal chops
1/4 c. flour
1 tsp. pepper
3 tbsp. salad oil
1/2 c. water
1 tsp. salt

Combine flour, salt and pepper. Dredge veal chops in flour mixture. Heat salad oil in frying pan. Brown chops on both sides. Add water. Cover; cook over low heat 45 minutes. Make pan gravy, if you wish. Serves 6.
