BEEF STEW 
2-2 1/2 lb. lean beef roast, chunked
1 lg. onion, diced
4 lg. potatoes, cubed
6 carrots, sliced or chunked
1 sm. can of peas
1 sm. can whole kernel corn
1 pkg. Adolphs 1 hour stew mix
1 sm. can green beans
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
3 bouillon cubes

In 4 quart saucepan put cubed meat and 1 package Adolphs mix and stir until meat is well coated. Let stand for 5 to 10 minutes. Add 3 cups water and 3 beef bouillon cubes. Bring to boil for 30 minutes. Add garlic powder, onion, peas, beans, corn and potatoes and carrots. Simmer for 45 minutes at medium heat or until all vegetables are tender, stirring once in awhile. 4 to 6 servings. To make vegetable soup eliminate mix and add 2 quarts tomato juice and 1 tablespoon seasoning salt.
