PIE CRUST 
1 c. shortening
1/2 c. boiling water
2 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking powder

Pour water in shortening and stir or beat until creamy or like cream. Take 1 cup of the flour and mix in. Add salt and baking powder to the rest of the flour. Add this to the cream mixture, mixing well. Chill before rolling out for pies. Makes 4 single or 2 double.
