OATMEAL BREAD | |
4 pkg. or 4 tbsp. yeast 1 c. warm water 2 1/2 c. boiling water 2 c. Zoom whole wheat cereal 3/4 c. honey 2/3 c. oil 2 tbsp. salt 4 eggs 10 c. whole wheat flour Combine water that boiled, Zoom, honey, oil and cool to lukewarm; then add 4 cups of the flour in large mixer bowl and blend. Add yeast and eggs; beat well. Stir in remaining flour to make a soft dough. Knead 8-10 minutes. Divide dough into four portions and form into loaves. Grease 4 (8 1/2 x 4 1/2 x 2 1/2-inch) pans. Place loaves in pans; raise until doubled, about 1 hour. Bake at 375 degrees for 40 minutes. Cover loaves loosely with foil after first 20 minutes of baking to prevent over browning; continue baking. |
