PEANUT BUTTER DROP COOKIES 
1/2 c. peanut butter
1/2 c. butter
1 c. sugar
1 egg
1 1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. undiluted milk
1 c. chopped figs, raisins, or dates
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 c. chopped nuts

Combine peanut butter and butter. Blend in sugar. Mix well. Add eggs and beat thoroughly. Sift flour, baking powder and baking soda. Add alternately with milk. Drop by teaspoon on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 12 to 15 minutes.
