| ELSA'S GREAT HOMEMADE CHOCOLATE CAKE | |

2 c. flour 1 1/2 c. sugar 6 tbsp. baking cocoa 1 1/2 tsp. baking soda 1/4 tsp. salt 1 c. plus 2 tbsp. cold coffee 1 c. mayonnaise 2 tsp. vanilla Mix all ingredients. Pour into greased 9 x 13 inch pan or other cake pans or cupcake cups. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. | |

I will admit I was a bit hesitant about this recipe since it called for mayo and I have never cooked with it but....this is the BEST chocolate cake I have ever had! I put homemade cream cheese frosting on top. So good! Will def. be making this cake many more times!

I was very skeptical about the mayo but I couldn't even taste I, the coffee enhances the flavor, it's so very moist & delicious :) I will definitely make it again, maybe add stronger coffee :)
