MICROWAVE WHITE SAUCE 
THIN SAUCE:

2 tbsp. butter
2 tbsp. flour
2 c. milk
Salt to taste

MEDIUM SAUCE:

4 tbsp. butter
4 tbsp. flour
2 c. milk
Salt to taste

THICK SAUCE:

6 tbsp. butter
6 tbsp. flour
2 c. milk
Salt to taste

THIN SAUCE:

70% power level
1 minute, cook butter
8 minutes, cook time for sauce

MEDIUM SAUCE:

70% power level
1 minute 15 seconds, cook butter
8 minutes, cook time for sauce

THICK SAUCE:

70% power level
1 minute 15 seconds, cook butter
8 minutes, cook time for sauce

In glass 4 cup measuring cup, cook butter. With wire whip blend in flour, then milk. Cook; stir once during cooking. For cheese sauce add 1/2 cup to 1 cup shredded colby or cheddar cheese; stir until melted. So much easier than constantly stirring at the stove top.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
