3-4 oranges 4-5 ripe peaches 6-7 ripe plums 1 1/2 c. seedless grapes 1 1/2 c. fresh berries such as strawberries or blueberries or a mixture of berries 5 tbsp. confectioners' sugar 3 tbsp. Cognac 3 tbsp. Kirsch 3 tbsp. Grand Marnier Peel the oranges, removing all the white pulp. Break or cut the oranges into sections and discard the seeds. There should be about 1 1/2 cups of orange sections. Halve the peaches and plums and remove the pits. Cut the fruit into wedges. There should be about 3 cups of peach and plum wedges. Combine all the fruits in a mixing bowl and sprinkle with the sugar. Blend well. Cover and chill until ready to serve. When ready to serve, add the Cognac, Kirsch, and Grand Marnier. Stir to blend and serve immediately. 6 servings. |
