SNICKER CAKE 
1 German chocolate cake mix
1 pkg. Kraft caramels
1 stick butter
1/3 c. milk
3/4 c. chocolate chips
3/4 c. walnuts

Mix cake as directed on box. Pour 1/2 batter in greased 9 x 13 inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes. Melt caramels, butter and milk. Pour over cake. Sprinkle with chocolate chips and nuts. Pour remaining cake mix on top. Bake at 250 degrees for 20 minutes. Then 10 minutes at 350 degrees. Serve with whipped cream or ice cream.
