TRIPLE CHOCOLATE CAKE | |
1 pudding recipe Watkins chocolate dessert mix, divided 1 pkg. (18.5 oz.) devils food cake mix 1 lg. egg 1 tsp. Watkins vanilla extract 1 tsp. Watkins brandy extract 1/2 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips 1 c. coarsely chopped nuts Whipped cream Prepare pudding according to label recipe; cool until warm. Remove 2 cups for this recipe; reserve remainder for another use. In large bowl, combine the 2 cups cooled pudding, cake mix, egg, vanilla extract and brandy extract; beat well (2 minutes with electric mixer or 600 strokes by hand). Pour batter into a greased and floured 13 x 9 inch baking pan. Sprinkle batter with chocolate chips and nuts. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Cool; serve with sweetened whipped cream flavored with Watkins vanilla extract. Makes 1 cake. |
