4 egg whites 1/3 c. coarsely chopped walnuts 1/3 c. coarsely chopped dates 1/3 c. coarsely chopped candied cherries 1 1/4 c. sugar In large bowl of electric mixer, let egg whites warm to room temperature, about 1 hour. With mixer at high speed, beat whites just until soft peaks form when beater is slowly raised. Fold in rest of ingredients. Drop by teaspoon 1" apart onto lightly greased cookie sheet. Bake 25 to 30 minutes or just until faintly colored. Cool on wire rack. Store in air tight container. |
