BLOND BROWNIES 
3/4 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 c. butter
1 c. packed light brown sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. chopped pecans

Mix well flour, baking powder and salt; set aside. In saucepan, melt butter; remove from heat. Stir in sugar until well mixed. Beat in egg and vanilla until blended. Stir in flour mixture, then nuts. Spread in greased 8x8x2 inch pan.

Bake in preheated 350 degree oven 25 minutes or until pick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool in pan or rack.
