CLAM & SHRIMP SAUCE WITH
SPAGHETTI

1 med. onion, diced
1 med. green pepper, diced (can use frozen peppers & onions, chopped - 1/ bag each)
1/4 c. olive oil or salad oil
2 cans (6 oz. each) tomato paste
1 can (8 oz.) tomato sauce
1 can red clam sauce (10 1/2 oz.)
1 can white clam sauce (10 1/2 oz.)
2 (12 oz. each) pkgs. frozen shrimp
1 1/2 to 2 boxes spaghetti (#3)
Salt to taste
Pepper to taste
Dash of oregano
Dash of garlic powder
Grated cheese (opt.)

Saute onion and green pepper in oil. In a large pot put tomato sauce, tomato paste, white clam sauce and red clam sauce. Stir and put low flame under pot. When onions and peppers are sauteed, add to tomato and clam mixture. Put in seasonings. Cook shrimp in separate pot and drain (don't overcook). Add shrimp to sauce. Cook spaghetti.

Serve shrimp and clam sauce over drained spaghetti. Add grated cheese if desired. All ingredients can be kept on hand at all times. This dish is very easy to make and requires very little time to prepare. Marvelous for unexpected company! Serves 4 to 6, depending on size of appetite.
