FREEZER PICKLES 
2 qts. sliced cucumbers, unpeeled, small
1 med. onion, sliced
2 tbsp. pickling salt

SYRUP MIXTURE:

1 1/2 c. white sugar
1 tsp. mustard seed
1/2 c. cider vinegar
1 tsp. celery seed

Mix together: sliced cucumbers, onion. Sprinkle pickling salt over top and let stand 2 hours. Then drain, rinse well and drain again. Stand over night before using, or at least 12 hours. Syrup mixture: Mix together, stirring to dissolve sugar. These will keep well in jar in refrigerator or can be frozen.
