CHOCOLATE CHIP YUMMIES 
2 c. butter or shortening
2 c. powdered sugar
3 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
2 c. quick oatmeal
4 tsp. vanilla
1 (12 oz.) bag mini chocolate chips

Cream butter. Beat in sugar and vanilla. Add flour, soda and oatmeal. Mix in chocolate chips. Form into small balls. Place on ungreased cookie sheet. Press balls down with fork. Cookies should be about quarter-sized. Bake for 15-20 minutes at 325 degrees. Makes at least 12 dozen bite-size cookies.
