REFRIGERATOR BRAN MUFFINS 
1 (16 oz.) box Bran Flakes
5 c. flour
5 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
3 c. sugar
4 eggs, unbeaten
1 c. vegetable oil
1 qt. buttermilk

Mix cereal, sugar, flour, soda, salt in very large bowl. Add eggs, shortening, and buttermilk. Store in covered container in refrigerator and use as desired. Batter will keep 6 weeks. Fill greased muffin tins or cup cake liners 2/3 full and bake at 400 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes.

I add 2 cups nuts plus 2 to 3 cups raisins.
