Corn meal or sand
Powdered tempera
Spoons
Bowls
Glue (in squeeze bottles)
Matt board, cardboard, or paper plate

Mix 1 teaspoon powdered tempera with 2/3 cup corn meal or sand. Make 3 or 4 different colors. Give each child a piece of cardboard, matt board, or paper plate. Each child should draw a design with glue from a squeeze bottle. Sprinkle corn meal or sand onto glue. Shake off excess.
