BEER BREAD 
3 c. self-rising flour
5 tbsp. sugar
1 (12 oz.) can beer (not light), at room temperature
2 tsp. melted butter

Combine flour, sugar and beer and mix well. Pour batter into 5 x 9 inch loaf pan and let rise for 45 minutes. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. Remove from oven and pour melted butter over loaf. Replace in oven and bake another 10 minutes. Makes 1 loaf.
