MACARONI QUICKIE (MICROWAVE) 
1/2 lb. ground beef
1 c. uncooked elbow macaroni
1 med. onion, chopped
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
1/3 c. catsup
Pinch of sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/4 tsp. chili powder

Combine all ingredients with 1-1/2 cups water in 2 to 2-1/2-quart casserole. Blend well. Cook, covered tightly, on HIGH for 20 to 22 minutes or until macaroni is tender. Stir occasionally during cooking. Let stand 4 to 5 minutes before serving to blend flavors. Makes 4 servings.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
