TACO CASSEROLE 
1 lb. ground beef or turkey
1 pkg. taco seasoning
1/2 c. water
2 tbsp. dried minced onion (1/4 c. finely chopped onion)
2 c. grated cheese
1 c. shredded lettuce (about 1/2 head)
1/2 c. finely chopped tomatoes
10 taco shells, coarsely broken
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce

Place 1/2 of the taco shells in a lightly greased 9x13 inch pan. Brown and crumble the meat. Add onion and tomato sauce, taco seasoning and water. Simmer 10 minutes.

Spread over the taco shells. Sprinkle 1/2 of the cheese over that mixture. Top with the taco shells and remaining cheese. Bake at 350 degrees for 15-20 minutes. Top with lettuce and tomatoes.
