MURIEL'S PECAN COFFEE CAKE 
1/2 c. butter
1 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
2 eggs
1 c. sour cream
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. almond flavoring

Beat sugar and butter until fluffy. Add sour cream mixed with soda. Add eggs, one at a time and beat. Mix flour, baking powder, and salt and flavoring. Put into 9 inch foil pan. Cover with following topping: 1 tsp. cinnamon 1/2 c. chopped nuts

Sprinkle topping over batter and cut through with a fork. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
