MACARONI-CHICKEN-CHEESE
CASSEROLE
 
8 oz. elbow macaroni
1 1/2 c. sliced cooked chicken
1 pkg. (8 oz.) sliced process American cheese
1/4 c. butter
2 tbsp. flour
1 1/2 c. milk
Salt and pepper
Paprika

Cook macaroni, drain and put in shallow 2 quart baking dish. Top with alternate rows of chicken and cheese. Melt butter in saucepan and blend in flour. Add milk and cook, stirring, until thickened. Add salt and pepper to taste and pour over mixture in dish. Sprinkle with paprika and bake in preheated 375 F. oven 25 to 30 minutes. Serves 4 or 5.
