POP CORN BALLS 
1/3 c. Karo syrup, white
1/3 c. water
1 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/4 c. butter (1/2 stick)
3 qt. popped corn (keep warm in oven, in a lg. kettle)

Cook white Karo syrup, water, sugar and salt on medium high heat to hard ball stage. Add butter and vanilla, remove from heat. Pour over popped corn and stir. Cover hands with small plastic bags or gloves and form into balls. Great Halloween tradition!
