LIMA BEAN CASSEROLE 
2 cans or 2 boxes frozen baby lima beans
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 med. onion, chopped
8 strips of bacon
Bacon drippings
1 sm. pkg. Velveeta cheese
Salt to taste
Red pepper
Black pepper
1/2 tsp. sugar

Boil lima beans until tender. While they're boiling fry bacon crisp and break into bits. When beans are tender, drain off water and add onion to hot beans along with bacon bits and 1 or 2 tablespoons bacon drippings. Melt your cheese and cream of mushroom soup together in microwave or double boiler. Then add cheese and soup mixture to beans. Add seasonings. Pour into buttered casserole dish. Bake at 350 degrees for about 30 minutes. Delicious with roast and can be prepared the day before and baked a half hour before meal time.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
