APPLE BROWN BETTY 
6 lg. Granny Smith apples
1/8 tsp. salt
1 tsp. grated lemon
1 tbsp. lemon juice
1/2 c. flour
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/4 c. butter
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. cinnamon

Peel, core, and slice apples into thin slices and place in a lightly greased baking dish. Sprinkle apples with salt, lemon rind, and lemon juice. Blend all other ingredients until crumbly. Sprinkle over apples. Bake at 375 degrees for 30 to 35 minutes.
