CHOCO-TAFFY CHEWIES 
3/4 c. sugar
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. molasses
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. rolled oats
1 pkg. chocolate chips
1 c. flaked coconut

Sift flour with soda and salt. Cream butter and sugar. Add molasses, egg and vanilla, beat until smooth. Blend in flour mixture. Stir in oats, chips and coconut. Grease cookie sheets. Bake at 375 degrees until browned. Frost with chocolate frosting.
