COUNTRY CORN CHOWDER | |
6 c. water 6 med. potatoes, peeled and cubed 1 med. onion, chopped 1 tbsp. garlic powder 1 stalk celery, chopped 2 vegetable bouillon 1/8 tsp. sage 1/2 tsp. thyme 1/2 tsp. oregano 1/2 tsp. salt Pepper to taste 1/2 tsp. seasoned salt 3-4 c. frozen corn 1 tbsp. butter 1/4 c. chopped green pepper Cook potatoes, onion, garlic powder and celery in water. After it comes to boiling, add bouillon and seasonings. When potatoes are done, cool awhile and remove 2 cups and run through blender or processor. Put back and add corn. While it heats, saute green peppers in butter. Add to rest. |
