WHIPPED SHORTBREAD 
1 c. butter
1/2 tsp. icing sugar
1 1/2 c. all-purpose sifted flour
1 tsp. vanilla

Whip butter until fluffy. Add dry ingredients. Whip 10 minutes. Bake in square pan at 325 to 350 degrees until lightly brown. Mark lightly in squares before baking.
