3 egg whites
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. baking powder
14 soda crackers
1/2 c. chopped walnuts
Whipped cream or ice cream

Beat egg whites until soft, but not dry. Gradually add sugar, vanilla and baking powder. Crush soda crackers into crumbs, not too fine. Add walnuts and fold into egg whites mixture. Pour into well buttered 8 or 9 inch pie plate and spread evenly. Bake at 350 degrees (325 degrees if glass pie plate) for 30 minutes. Cool or chill. Serve with whipped cream or ice cream.
