BARBECUE RIBS | |
10 lbs. pork or beef ribs 2 tsp. garlic salt 2 tsp. pepper 1 tbsp. prepared mustard 1/2 c. diced onion 2 tbsp. butter, melted 1/2 c. firmly packed brown sugar 1/4 c. lemon juice 1/4 c. steak sauce 2 tbsp. vinegar 2 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce 1 tbsp. chili powder Cut ribs into serving-size pieces and place in Dutch oven; cover with water and bring to a boil. Cover, reduce heat and simmer 20 minutes. Drain. Sprinkle ribs with garlic salt and pepper and baste with mustard. Saute onion in butter and add remaining ingredients. Simmer 5 minutes. Grill ribs 25 to 30 minutes, brushing with sauce the last 5 to 8 minutes. |
