BOILED GREEN BEANS 
2 qts. canned green beans
2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. sugar
1 c. corn oil
1 qt. hot water

Open green beans. Drain off water from beans. Add salt and sugar. Add 1 cup corn oil. Add 1 quart hot water. Cook on medium heat 30 minutes. Chop with sharp knife. Cook 30 minutes longer or until most of the water boils away. Serves 8.
