BUFFET GREEN BEANS (FOR A CROWD) 
2 large #10 cans green beans (each about 96 oz.)
1/2 cup onion flakes
1 cup boiling water
2 cups (4 sticks) butter, melted
2 tsp. celery salt
2 tsp. seasoning salt
2 tbsp. dill weed
1 tsp. white pepper
1 tsp. Tabasco sauce
2 tbsp. soy sauce
1 tbsp. thyme

Preheat oven to 350°F. Drain beans and rinse with cold water. Pour beans into a 12x24-inch buffet pan.

Pour boiling water over onion flakes. Let stand for 10 to 15 minutes and then drain. Add onion flakes and the remaining ingredients to the melted butter and mix well. Pour butter mixture over the beans, cover the pan with foil.

Bake at 350°F for 45 minutes.

Makes 50 servings.
