BEEF STEW 
2 or 2 1/2 lbs. boneless stew beef
6 cut up potatoes
28 oz. can tomatoes
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
14 1/2 oz. can clear beef broth

Cook stew beef in 4 cups water for 1 hour. Add tomatoes, cook 30 minutes and add potatoes, carrots, beef broth and cook for 1 hour.
