MEXICAN WEDDING COOKIES 
2 1/2 c. flour
1 c. butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. confectioners' sugar
1 c. chopped nuts
Enough confectioners' sugar to dust finished cookies

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

2. Sift flour and salt together.

3. Cream butter with sugar until light and fluffy. Blend in vanilla. Gradually add flour, mixing only until smooth. Blend in nuts.

4. Form dough into 1 inch balls and place on ungreased cookie sheet. Flatten slightly. Bake for 12 minutes or until lightly brown. Dust at once with confectioners' sugar and allow to cool. Makes about 5 dozen.
