CHERRY CHEESE CAKE 
1 pkg. cake mix (white, 18.5 oz.)
1/3 c. butter
3 lg. eggs
3/4 c. sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
2 pkg. cream cheese (8 oz. each)
2 c. sour cream
1 tbsp. vanilla
1/4 c. sugar
1 can cherries (21 oz.)

Beat cake mix, butter and 1 egg until crumbly. Press lightly in ungreased 13 x 9 x 2 inch pan. Beat together 2 eggs, 3/4 cup sugar, 2 teaspoons vanilla and cream cheese until smooth. Spread over crumb mixture. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes.

Mix sour cream, 1/4 cup sugar and remaining 1 tablespoon of vanilla. Spread over cooled cake. Add cherries on top. Cover and put in ice box for 8 hours until it sets up. Serves 16-18 people.
