CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES 
1/2 c. Crisco
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/4 c. white sugar
1 egg
1/2 tsp. vanilla
Shake of salt
1 1/4 c. self rising flour
Chocolate chips

Beat sugar, Crisco, egg, salt until fluffy. Beat in vanilla, then flour and chips. Bake 10 minutes at 375 degrees. Makes about 15 to 20 cookies dropped by the teaspoon. Double for more.
