BAKED BEANS - OVEN STYLE | |
1 can Van Camp's pork & beans (1 lb. 15 oz. size) 1 c. ketchup 1 c. brown sugar, packed 2 tbsp. prepared mustard 1 tbsp. soy sauce 1/4 c. light Karo syrup 1 sm. onion (opt.) 3 dashes ground ginger Pour beans into skillet. Add other ingredients, stirring after each addition. Bring to a slow boil on medium heat. Turn heat to low or simmer. Cook until candied around the edges of the skillet, 30 to 45 minutes. Stir frequently to prevent sticking. Serves 6 to 8 people. |
