MACAROON CRUMBLE PIE 
4 egg whites
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. nuts
1 c. crumbled macaroons
1/2 c. chopped dates

Beat egg whites until stiff. Beat in sugar gradually. Add vanilla. Fold in other ingredients. Spread in a buttered and floured 9 inch pan. Bake 35 minutes at 350 degrees. Cut in squares. Top with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.
