SPANISH NOODLES 
1 lb. ground beef or turkey
1 tsp. black pepper
2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. chili powder
5 oz. egg noodles, dry; do not cook
8 oz. can tomato sauce
16 oz. can stewed tomatoes
1/2 c. water
16 oz. can chili beans, optional

Brown meat in skillet; drain. Add seasonings, stir to mix. Lay dry noodles in a layer over meat. Add tomato sauce and tomatoes. Pour water over to moisten noodles. If using chili beans layer them over top; cover. Cook at medium heat.
