ASPARAGUS HORS D'OEUVRES 
20 slices thin white bread
3 oz. blue cheese
8 oz. cream cheese
1 egg
20 asparagus spears (1 can)
1 stick butter, melted

Trim crust off bread and flatten with rolling pin; doing four slices at a time. Mix cheeses and egg and spread on bread. Roll up one asparagus spear at a time in one slice of bread. Roll in butter. Place on cookie sheet and cut in thirds. These can be frozen at this point or proceed with the baking. Bake at 400 degrees for 10 to 15 minutes.
