SOUR CREAM WALNUT COOKIES | |
1/2 c. softened butter 1 c. sugar 2 beaten eggs 1 tsp. vanilla 1 3/4 c. flour 1/2 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. baking soda 1/2 tsp. nutmeg 1/2 c. sour cream 1 c. chopped walnuts 1. Combine butter and sugar. 2. Add sour cream and nuts, then beaten eggs and vanilla. 3. Combine flour, salt, soda, nutmeg and slowly add to sugar mixture, blending thoroughly. 4. Drop teaspoonsful onto greased cookie sheet 2 inches apart. 5. Bake at 350 degrees for 12-15 minutes until browned around edges. Let cool on sheets 5 minutes then remove to racks. Yields about 4 dozen. |
