TROPIC DELIGHT 
1 1/2 c. vanilla wafers, crushed
1/4 c. butter, melted
1 1/2 c. coconut
1 1/2 c. powdered sugar
1/2 c. butter
2 eggs
3/4 c. Maraschino cherries, chopped
1 (9 oz.) can crushed pineapple, drained
1 c. broken pecans
1 c. cream, whipped

Use a 9 x 9 inch pan. Combine the first three ingredients and put aside 1 cup of the mixture. Take the rest of the crumbs and pat them into the bottom of the pan. Beat the powdered sugar, 1/2 cup of butter and 2 eggs together. Add the remaining ingredients and pour over the crust. Sprinkle the 1 cup of crumbs over the top. Refrigerate until ready to use. Serves 9.
