LEMON UPSIDE DOWN PUDDING | |
2 1/4 tbsp. flour 3/4 c. sugar 1 tbsp. butter 1/4 tsp. salt 2 eggs, separated & beaten 1/4 c. lemon juice 1 c. milk Combine flour, sugar and salt with softened butter. Add egg yolks, lemon juice and milk. Then fold in stiffly beaten egg whites. Pour into buttered casserole dish. Set in pan of warm water. Bake at 375 degrees until top is firm. When served, top with be solid pudding, bottom will be lemon sauce. |
