BRANDIED CRANBERRIES 
1 orange
1/2 c. water
1 piece stick cinnamon (3 inch)
3 cloves
2 c. sugar
1 lb. fresh cranberries
1/4 c. brandy

Cut orange into pieces; remove seeds but not rind. Save juice. Chop in blender to "fine mince". In saucepan combine orange, water, juice; add cloves, cinnamon (in cheesecloth). Simmer 10 minutes. Add sugar and berries. Simmer until berries pop. Remove from heat; remove spices. Add brandy. Store in covered container. Improves with age.
