WYOMING WHOPPER COOKIES | |
2/3 c. butter 1 1/4 c. brown sugar 1 1/2 c. chunky peanut butter 2 tsp. baking soda 1 (12 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips 3 eggs, slightly beaten 3/4 c. granulated sugar 6 c. old-fashioned oats 1 1/2 c. raisins Melt butter and blend in sugars, eggs and peanut butter; mixing well. Add oats, soda, raisins, chocolate chips. Mixture will be sticky. Drop on greased cookie sheet with an ice cream scoop or large spoon. Flatten slightly. Bake at 350 degrees for about 15 minutes for a 3 inch cookie. Allow to slightly cool before removing to cooling rack. Makes about 2 dozen cookies. Two hints for better cookies: use a small ice cream scoop with a release handle to make nicely rounded drop cookies. Also if you bake chocolate chip cookies in a 300 degree oven they will stay chewey. |
