CHOC-CARAMEL CAKE | |
1 pkg. German chocolate cake mix 1 jar caramel ice cream topping 1 can Eagle Brand condensed milk 1 lg. Cool Whip 1. Make German chocolate cake according to directions on the package and bake. 2. Let stand for only 2 to 5 minutes after removing from oven. Punch holes in the top of the cake with the handle of a wooden spoon (make several holes). 3. Pour Eagle Brand condensed milk over the entire top immediately. 4. Pour caramel topping over entire top also. (These two items soak into cake making a very moist and flavorful cake.) 5. Can be served warm, room temperature or from the refrigerator with Cool Whip topping. |
