MARINATED VEGETABLE SALAD 
1 sm. c. French style green beans
1 sm. c. English peas
1 lg. red onion, sliced
1 bell pepper, bite size or rings
1 cucumber, sliced with peel
3 stalks celery, cut bite size
1/2 c. Crisco oil
1 c. vinegar
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. salt

Mix all vegetables together. Mix vinegar, sugar, salt and Crisco and pour over vegetables. Better if allowed to refrigerate for 24 to 48 hours. Drain if desired before serving.
